ABOUT ME

I’m a self-taught illustrator from the Philippines. (March 16, 2013 - I’ll be away from this website for a few months, thanks for visiting.)

Although I’m interested in a lot of things, I’m particularly drawn to nature and the environment, the reason why most of my illustrations are nature-themed/environment-inspired - animals, trees, plants, rocks, fields, forests, meadows, etc. I illustrate man and man-made things as well.

I am interested in doing illustrations for magazines / publications, posters, etc.

OTHER STUFF :D

• Gelrev (my first name) is very uncommon even in my country. It’s something my parents just made up. When I was growing up, many of my teachers, at first, didn’t know how to correctly pronounce my name. It’s pronounced as “Gel” like in “hair GEL” and “rev” like in “REView.” :D
